Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale is once again making headlines, this time for his fiery response to the Ghana Society of the Physically Disabled (GSPD). Following demands for an apology after he allegedly mocked his rival, Stonebwoy’s disability, Shatta Wale opted for confrontation rather than conciliation.

In a recently surfaced video, Shatta Wale vehemently expressed his disdain for the GSPD’s request, refusing to apologize or remove the contentious content from his social media platforms. He declared, “You can’t create a problem for me, I am a problem myself,” and boldly stated, “Everything we are creating the association, there is even Unemployed people association.”

Known for his confrontational demeanor, Shatta Wale’s response has stirred controversy and sparked debate about the boundaries of acceptable behavior and the importance of disability rights advocacy. In a controversial assertion, he expressed disbelief in the concept of people with disabilities forming associations, stating, “I saw no merit in such endeavors.”

This incident serves as a reminder of the power dynamics at play in the music industry and the need for greater sensitivity and respect towards marginalized communities.
