Gushegu Nursing and Midwifery Training College (NMTC) concluded their eagerly anticipated SRC Week Celebration with a memorable Dinner Night.

However, the event commenced from May 13th to May 18th, 2024, the campus buzzed with excitement and unity as students, faculty, and staff joined together to mark the successful culmination of another academic year.

The lineup of programs for the SRC Week Celebration at Gushegu NMTC includes a Launch Event, Bachelor Night, Football Matches, Quizzes and Debates, Cultural Display, Variety Show, Volleyball Matches, Egg and Spoon Race, Filling Bottle Challenge, Sack Race, and culminates with the highly anticipated Dinner Night. These events provide students, faculty, and staff with various opportunities to come together, participate in friendly competitions, showcase talents, and celebrate the lively spirit of the campus community.
Under the esteemed leadership of SRC President Ziem Castro, the week-long festivities showcased the vibrant spirit and community bond at Gushegu NMTC. Kicking off with a dynamic Talent Show, the celebration set the stage for days filled with camaraderie, laughter, and appreciation of diverse cultures.

Sports Day fostered teamwork and sportsmanship among departments, students, and tutors, while the Cultural Display event offered a colorful mosaic of heritage with performances representing various tribes including the Ashantis, Dagombas, Kasena-Nankana, Konkombas, Bimobas, Fulanis, Ewes, Frafra, Wala, Dagaabas and more.
Intellectual engagement took center stage with the Academic Quiz and Debates, conducted in collaboration with the College of Health Science, Yendi. These events underscored the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and intellectual discourse.
The much-anticipated Dinner Night on May 18th, 2024, was the highlight of the celebration. Students, faculty, and guests gathered for an evening filled with warmth, laughter, and celebration.
