Ghanaian rap sensation Amerado has revealed that he enjoyed the excitement and buzz generated by rumors of his alleged romantic relationship with renowned media personality Delay.
In 2023, speculation about their relationship gained momentum on social media. For many months, neither Amerado nor Delay confirmed or denied the rumors. However, in an interview with Roselyn Felli on the Prime Morning Show, the “Kweku Ananse” hitmaker clarified that there was no real relationship but appreciated the hype the rumors brought.
“I enjoyed the hype from people who believed I was dating Delay. The attention and discussions were entertaining and brought a lot of focus to my work,” Amerado shared.

The 27-year-old valued how the speculation kept his name trending and added an intriguing element to his public persona, even though the romantic ties were purely fictional.
“Our interactions were purely professional and friendly, but the public’s reaction to our chemistry was something I found amusing and beneficial to my career,” he explained.
