King Promise, a prominent Ghanaian musician, has expressed his strong belief that he deserves to win the Artiste of the Year at the upcoming 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
In an interview on Hitz FM, the ‘Tokyo’ singer highlighted the extensive work he has put in over the past year and his significant contributions to representing Ghanaian music on the global stage.
Reflecting on his achievements and the support he has garnered, King Promise remarked, “100%, won’t you be surprised? We’ve done one hell of a job. I’m not saying…we both don’t know who will win it. I believe I’m winning it. I believe I deserve to win it.”
He emphasized the impact of his recent releases and the recognition they have received, positioning himself as a worthy contender for the prestigious award.
King Promise faces stiff competition from fellow nominees Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Kuami Eugene, Nacee, and Black Sherif. The 25th TGMA ceremony will take place on June 1, 2024, at the Grand Arena of the National Theatre in Accra.
