Liha Miller, the German ex-wife of Ghanaian musician Patapaa Amisty, has clarified that their marriage ended just months after their wedding, despite public belief that they are still together.
In a candid interview at the airport, Miller disclosed that she and Patapaa have not been together for a long time, explaining that their marriage fell apart shortly after their wedding in 2021 due to ongoing issues.
“Many people are under the wrong impression about our relationship. I married Patapaa in 2021, but the marriage did not work out,” Miller said. “We officially married, and in Ghana, the divorce process takes time. We are in the process of finalizing everything, but Patapaa and I have not spoken for years.”
She continued by saying that although Patapaa did not initially take her request for a divorce seriously, she has been in touch with his parents to ensure the process is completed.
“The last time I saw him was after the wedding, and we never spoke again after I left. People don’t need to know because it is my private life, but I felt the need to clear up the misconceptions,” Miller added.
Miller emphasized that their separation has been private, but felt compelled to address the ongoing misconceptions about their marital status.
