In a revealing interview on DM Tv, Ghanaian rapper Maccasio made it clear that he has no intention of collaborating with fellow artist Fancy Gadam if it involves any payment. Speaking to host Naa Damba, Maccasio responded to a question about a potential collaboration by firmly stating his stance against paying for such an opportunity.

Maccasio, expressing himself in Dagbani, said, “I have heard him say I have to pay him for a collaboration… but I want to state it clearly that if Fancy Gadam becomes my last hope and demands that I should pay him for a collaboration, I would rather pray to God to take my life.”

This Statement  highlights the deep-seated rivalry between the two musicians, known respectively as the 69 King and the Gadam Nation boss. Their contentious relationship has persisted for nearly a decade, much to the frustration of their fans and neutrals alike, particularly in northern Ghana.

Despite numerous calls from music enthusiasts for the two giants to come together and create music, the chances of a collaboration seem increasingly unlikely. Maccasio’s recent remarks suggest that the divide between them is as wide as ever, dashing hopes for a reconciliation and joint project.

As the rivalry continues, the music scene in northern Ghana remains divided, with fans eagerly watching to see if either artist will soften their stance or if the feud will persist indefinitely.
