Ghanaian singer and dancer Andrew Nii Commey, popularly known as Mr. Drew, is evaluating a fresh opportunity from a record label following his exit from Highly Spiritual Music in 2023.
In an exclusive interview with MX24 TV, the ‘Case’ hitmaker revealed that a record label had recently approached him with an offer, and he is currently considering his options. Mr. Drew mentioned that the company had previously expressed interest and has now returned, hoping to secure a positive response from him as an independent artist.

Mr. Drew, who gained recognition as a participant in MTN Hitmaker, was signed to Highly Spiritual Music, a label founded by renowned music producer Kaywa. Reflecting on his five-year tenure with the label, Mr. Drew explained that he decided to part ways due to unfavorable contract terms and financial challenges. These challenges once led him to contemplate selling his car to make ends meet.
Despite the difficulties, Mr. Drew noted that his departure from Highly Spiritual Music was mutual and amicable, with no lingering conflicts. He expressed gratitude for the experience and is now focused on exploring new opportunities as an independent artist.
