Richie Mensah Launches “Live the Music” Initiative to Unite and Elevate Ghana’s Creative Arts Industry

Richie Mensah, the visionary CEO of Lynx Group of Companies, has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative called “Live the Music,” designed to elevate Ghana’s creative arts industry and showcase Africa’s unique cultural identity on a global stage.

This ambitious project seeks to unite artists, musicians, dancers, and fashion designers under one banner, fostering collaboration and innovation within the creative sector.

 

At the launch event, Richie Mensah called on Ghanaian creatives to come together and harness the power of unity to preserve and promote the nation’s artistic heritage. He emphasized that “Live the Music” is not just a music campaign but a holistic movement that embraces various forms of expression, including visual arts, dance, and fashion.

“Live the Music” is structured around 12 key components, each addressing different facets of the creative arts ecosystem. These components include:

– Lynx Cubs (High School Club):Aimed at nurturing young talent at the grassroots level.

-Live The Music Museum: A space dedicated to preserving and showcasing the history and evolution of Ghanaian music.

– High School Album (Roll Call): A collaborative album featuring the best young talent from across Ghana.

– Underground EP (Seven 10):Highlighting emerging artists on the verge of breaking into the mainstream.

– Legacy Album:A tribute to the legends of Ghanaian music, ensuring their contributions are never forgotten.

– Live The Music Documentary:Chronicling the journey and impact of Ghanaian music on the world stage.

-Helping Hand:A philanthropic arm providing support to struggling creatives.

– Live The Music Tour: Bringing live performances to communities across Ghana.

– Creative Arts Workshop:Offering training and resources to aspiring creatives.

– Women in Music: Focusing on empowering female artists in the industry.

– Go Hard or Go Home: A competition showcasing the best in creative arts.

– Behind the Hits: A series spotlighting the producers and songwriters behind some of Ghana’s biggest hits.

 

The launch event was attended by a host of influential figures in the entertainment industry, including Kwame Farkye, Pascal Aka, KiDi, Olivetheboy, DWP Academy, Reggie Rockstone, and Dcryme. Their presence underscored the importance and potential impact of the “Live the Music” initiative.

 

Richie Mensah emphasized that “Live the Music” is a movement designed to transform the way Ghanaians engage with music and art. By involving every segment of society, the initiative aims to deepen the appreciation of Ghana’s rich cultural heritage, ensuring it is celebrated both at home and abroad.
