Ghanaian music sensation Kidi, born Dennis Nana Dwamena, has offered crucial advice to the younger generation about the significance of careful family planning.
In a recent interview with Doreen Avio on JoyNews’ LTS, the “Lomo Lomo” hitmaker highlighted the importance of using contraceptives for those who are not yet prepared to take on the responsibilities of parenthood.
Kidi stressed that while children are undoubtedly a blessing, they require careful consideration and planning, especially when they arrive unexpectedly.

“My first advice is to wear condoms if you’re not ready or at a point in your life where bringing another human into the world isn’t feasible. Use protection, whatever the case may be,” he advised.
Kidi, who has a son currently living in London, shared his commitment to being an active and present father despite the demands of his music career.
He expressed his desire to have more children and get married in the future, but emphasized the importance of timing and being fully prepared for the responsibilities that come with it.

Reflecting on his future plans, Kidi mentioned, “I definitely want to have more kids when the time is right. I also want to get married and start a family, but not now. Everything will happen when the time is right.”
Kidi also spoke about what he values in a partner, noting that while physical beauty is appealing, true connection comes from shared values and a deep, genuine bond.
