Kumawood star Kweku Manu has opened up about his divorce, revealing that despite the challenges, he never felt heartbroken when his ex-wife decided to leave. In a candid interview, the actor explained that his life experiences and past relationships had prepared him to handle such situations with resilience.
“I’ve been through a lot in my life, and those experiences toughened me up,” Kweku Manu shared. “When my marriage ended, I wasn’t left heartbroken because I knew how to handle it.”
He reflected on how his past relationships influenced his ability to cope with the divorce. Kweku Manu mentioned that throughout his life, it was usually the women who chose to end their relationships with him, which taught him early on how to manage disappointment.

“Growing up, it was always the women who broke up with me,” he recalled. “They would disappear from my life without warning. Those experiences taught me that disappointment is part of life, and I learned how to deal with it.”
Addressing his feelings about the end of his marriage, Kweku Manu acknowledged that while it was painful, it didn’t leave him heartbroken.
“When you’ve spent time with someone, it’s natural to feel pain when it ends,” he noted. “But while I was upset about what happened in the marriage, I wasn’t heartbroken by the divorce itself. I had already prepared myself for whatever might come.”
