Ghanaian musician Kweku Darlington has sparked conversation with his recent revelation that he has never been in a romantic relationship or engaged in any intimate activity, claiming he might be the last virgin in Ghana.
Speaking in an interview with Roselyn Felli on Joy Prime’s morning show, the ‘Sika Kankan’ hitmaker shared that his dedication to his music career has kept him away from romantic pursuits.
Darlington, whose real name is Emmanuel Kweku Owusu Darlington, said, “I’ve never even dated. I believe I might be the only virgin left in Ghana right now. I’ve been in the music industry for over 20 years, and my focus has always been on making great music.”

Though his latest song, *Grateful to Your Ex*, explores themes of past relationships, the rapper explained that the song was not based on his personal life. Instead, it was crafted for those who have experienced romantic challenges, offering encouragement to reflect on and appreciate their past relationships.
Kweku Darlington emphasized that his focus is not on awards or industry recognition but rather on creating impactful music that resonates with his audience. “I’m here to make music that people love, perform at shows, and build meaningful collaborations. That’s my mission,” he added.
The artist also mentioned that he plans to maintain his purity until marriage, prioritizing his career and personal growth over relationships for now.
