Ghanaian dancehall sensation Shatta Wale has accused his former manager, Bullgod, of derailing a lucrative $4 million record deal by leaking the tracklist of his much-anticipated Gift of God album.
In an interview on Kessben FM, Shatta Wale disclosed that the deal was with a prominent international record label that had meticulously planned the album’s global distribution.
The project featured collaborations with renowned international artists, promising to be a significant milestone in his career.
However, the deal reportedly fell apart after the tracklist was made public without authorization. According to Shatta Wale, the leak occurred just days before the label was set to disburse the funds. “We had finalized the documentation, and everything was ready for the rollout. It was just three days for them to send me the money,” he lamented.

Shatta Wale alleged that Bullgod’s actions were driven by lingering resentment following the termination of their professional relationship. “He wanted to disgrace me, so he released the tracklist,” the musician said. The leak led the label to withdraw from the agreement, citing concerns about confidentiality and project integrity.
The artist expressed deep disappointment over the lost opportunity, emphasizing the potential impact the deal could have had on his career. “It was a major step for my brand and my fans worldwide. This has set us back, but I’ll keep moving forward,” he stated.
Shatta Wale’s claims have reignited discussions about the challenges artists face with former management teams, particularly when disputes turn public. Bullgod has yet to respond to the allegations.
