In a recent statement, Fameye refuted these allegations, explaining the circumstances surrounding the incident. “I never walked off the stage. I finished my performance. The crowd was amazing—they clapped, threw pounds at me, and I expressed my gratitude before leaving,” he said.
Fameye elaborated that the concert was running behind schedule, leaving him with only 10 minutes to perform. Despite the time constraints, he completed his set and engaged with the audience. “It wasn’t the ideal situation, but I made the most of it,” he added.

My DJ provided him with all the necessary directions,” Fameye noted, emphasizing their efforts to avoid any mishaps.
Management of the event confirmed that other artists, including Kelvyn Boy and Kweku Flick, performed without issues, attributing the night’s hiccups to unforeseen delays. Fameye commended the DJ’s dedication and professionalism, acknowledging the challenges of managing a high-pressure event.
