Ghanaian singer Kuami Eugene has subtly responded to DopeNation’s remarks about the so-called “Lynx curse” following his departure from Lynx Entertainment.

After Richie Mensah confirmed Eugene’s exit from the label, DopeNation took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their thoughts, writing:

“Let’s see how you carry the so-called ‘Lynx curse’ now. What was meant for four people is now for one person. We wish you well. @KuamiEugene.”

Their statement referenced Eugene’s past comments when DopeNation left Lynx, where he jokingly remarked that what was meant for four artists had been split between him and KiDi.

In response, Kuami Eugene hinted at releasing a new song on his birthday while throwing a subtle jab at the duo.

“Anyone looking for attention to drop another gym song should wait. I’m dropping a classic song on my birthday come Saturday for quality music listeners, and then I will make some time, ok?” he wrote.

Kuami Eugene’s comment suggests that he is focused on delivering high-quality music rather than engaging in industry drama. Fans are now eagerly anticipating his birthday release.
