Ghanaian musician Sista Afia has revealed that she plans to return to her nursing profession when she turns 40.
Speaking in an interview on Onua TV, the ‘Jeje’ hitmaker disclosed that while she is currently focused on music, she has not entirely abandoned her nursing career.
“Right now, I’m a full-time musician, and nursing is on hold. When I get to the age of 40, I’ll go back to nursing,” she stated.

Sista Afia, who trained as a nurse in the United Kingdom before transitioning into the Ghanaian music industry, humorously admitted that she has been away from the field for so long that she has forgotten some medical terms.
“It’s been a while since I stopped school; I’ve even forgotten how to spell Chloroquine,” she joked.
Over the years, Sista Afia has cemented her place in the music industry with several hit songs. However, her recent revelation suggests that she still holds a strong connection to nursing and may one day trade the stage for the hospital once again.
