‎At the Juaboso Senior High School examination centre in the Western North Region, two pregnant candidates have drawn admiration after showing resilience by sitting for the Social Studies paper in the ongoing 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

‎According to school authorities, the guidance and counseling unit has been offering continuous support and motivation to the candidates to ensure they remain focused throughout the exams.

‎Mr. Christian Dedjoe Djokotoe, Headmaster of Juaboso SHS and internal supervisor for the centre, confirmed that special arrangements were made to guarantee the comfort and safety of the expectant students while they wrote their paper.

‎The examination commenced smoothly at the centre, where a total of 627 candidates—310 boys and 317 girls—were registered. However, three students (two girls and one boy) were absent from the Social Studies paper, with investigations underway to establish the reasons for their absence.
