The Lioness is on the move again! Ghana’s global music sensation Wiyaala has confirmed her 2025 European tour alongside her band, The Yaga Yagas, promising an electrifying run of shows across Slovenia, the UK, and Switzerland.
Known for her fearless blend of Afro-pop, rock, and traditional West African rhythms, Wiyaala sings in Sissala, Waala, and English, creating a sound that is as authentic as it is universal. From WOMAD in the UK to Summerfest in New York, her high-energy performances have earned her a reputation as one of Africa’s most unforgettable live acts.
Offstage, Wiyaala continues to inspire through her work with children and communities in her hometown of Funsi, where she established The Lioness Kingdom—a hub that houses an arts centre, radio station, and cultural space.
