Ghanaian dancehall superstar Shatta Wale has called for unity and an end to unnecessary comparisons in the music industry following the massive success of his ShattaFest 2025 concert at the Independence Square.
In a Facebook post shared on Saturday, October 25, 2025, the Shatta Movement (SM) boss urged fans, media personalities, and fellow musicians to focus on teamwork and discipline rather than rivalry.
“Any artiste in Ghana can also do what I did at the Independence Square with discipline and hard work. Please let’s stop comparing artistes — I’m tired of these time-wasting statements. I only came to show the youth that ‘impossible go turn possible,’” Shatta Wale wrote.

The “On God” hitmaker added that he wants the entertainment industry to thrive on respect, collaboration, and focus instead of competition. He encouraged bloggers, presenters, and pundits to help promote positivity and growth in Ghanaian showbiz.
Following his post, many fans and entertainment stakeholders praised Shatta Wale for showing leadership and maturity. They described his message as refreshing and timely, especially after ShattaFest 2025 drew record-breaking crowds at the Independence Square as part of his 40th birthday celebrations.
Interestingly, Shatta Wale’s call for unity came shortly after he and his team — including his Public Relations Officer, Sammy Flex, and rapper Medikal — paid a courtesy visit to the CEO of Charterhouse, organizers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA). The visit aimed at showing gratitude for their support during ShattaFest and symbolized reconciliation after years of tension.
“It’s time for the Ghanaian music industry to unite. The world is watching us — and together, we can win,” Shatta Wale added.
