Ghanaian musician Edem has opened up about what he believes is the secret to a strong and lasting marriage: choosing the right partner.
Speaking with blogger Zionfelix, Edem reflected on how he has built a peaceful and happy home with his wife over the years.
He revealed that before marriage, he looked for a woman with natural maternal instincts. “If you want to marry a woman, look for somebody who’s a mother figure,” he said.
According to Edem, a woman’s ability to nurture and guide children is vital. Even when challenges arise in a marriage, he explained, children often stay closest to their mother, making her role in the family extremely important.
