I have a significant legacy; it’s no surprise my name is on the Greatest Rappers’ list – Eno Barony

Celebrated female hip-hop artist, Eno Barony, recently expressed her thoughts on being named in Graphic Showbiz’s list of the greatest rappers in Ghana. The artist, known for her impactful contributions to the Ghanaian rap scene, was not surprised by her inclusion.

 

In an interview with Cape Coast’s Property FM, Eno Barony shared her reaction, attributing her recognition to the significant legacy she has built over the years. “I’m not surprised that my name was included in the list of the greatest rappers in Ghana,” she stated confidently. “Legends like Obrafour have left a very big legacy in Ghana, and artists like Reggie Rockstone and Okyeame Kwame have also made their marks. I’ve also left my legacy, especially when it comes to rap music in Ghana.”

Eno Barony went on to emphasize the lasting impact of her career. “The history I have set and the records I have made as a female rapper will be remembered forever. You cannot mention rap music without including my name,” she declared.

 

She reflected on her accomplishments and how they have cemented her place in Ghana’s music history. “With what I have achieved in the music scene, I’m not really surprised that Graphic Showbiz included my name in their list of the 12 greatest rappers in the history of Ghana,” she said.

 

Eno Barony’s inclusion in the prestigious list highlights her influence and the barriers she has broken as a female artist in a predominantly male genre.

Her legacy continues to inspire many upcoming artists, proving that talent and determination can pave the way for lasting success in the music industry.
