Renowned Ghanaian musician and High Grade Family leader, Samini, has taken a bold step to address the escalating feud between his former protégés, Stonebwoy and Kelvynboy.

The veteran artist, known for his diplomatic approach, has expressed hope for reconciliation and healing within the fractured relationship of the two Afrobeat stars.

In a heartfelt post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Samini tagged both Stonebwoy and Kelvynboy, calling for a renewed sense of humility and patience to mend their differences. “Order will be restored at home,” he wrote. “Second generation will have to read the history a bit further to understand.

But on the grand scheme of things, we chose to let whatever has been against us be for us henceforth. Humility alone cannot do it without patience. Allow the offended to heal and be careful not to allow entitlement to replace loyalty.”

This intervention follows a heated exchange between Stonebwoy and Kelvynboy on social media. The rift, which dates back to 2019 after Kelvynboy’s contract with Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music Group (BMG) was terminated, has resurfaced with new allegations.

The latest feud began when Kelvynboy accused Stonebwoy of employing “mafia tactics” to stifle his career. In a series of posts on X, Kelvynboy claimed that Stonebwoy had turned the public against him, making it difficult for him to reach his full potential.

“What exactly do you want from me?” Kelvynboy wrote. “You have defamed me, turned the majority of Ghanaians against me because you’re a saint and you can never do no wrong. I no dey fit rise to the heights I for dey mainly because of your mafia tactics, but Grace dey speak for me regardless.”

This outburst came in response to Stonebwoy’s comments during a recent interview, where he alleged that his life was under threat because of Kelvynboy.

The fallout between Stonebwoy and Kelvynboy has been brewing since 2019, when Kelvynboy left BMG amid allegations of disrespect and ingratitude. Despite Kelvynboy’s public gestures of apology, including kneeling to plead for forgiveness, tensions have remained high.

Their conflict further intensified in 2020 when Kelvynboy was allegedly attacked during an event in Ashaiman, an incident linked to Stonebwoy’s camp.

Samini’s decision to intervene is seen as a crucial step toward reconciliation. As a mentor and respected figure in Ghana’s music industry, his words carry significant weight. Fans and industry insiders hope his involvement will encourage both parties to prioritize healing and collaboration over conflict.

The veteran artist’s plea for humility, patience, and understanding underscores the importance of unity in Ghana’s creative space. Should this intervention succeed, it could serve as a blueprint for resolving future disputes within the industry.

For now, all eyes are on Stonebwoy and Kelvynboy to see if they will embrace Samini’s call and take steps toward mending their fractured relationship.
