Ghanaian musician Showboy recently made waves by revealing his performance fee on Hitz FM’s Hitz Gallery show, hosted by Dr. Pounds.
In a straightforward statement, the rapper disclosed that his starting rate for a performance is GHS 100,000. “If you don’t have 100,000, don’t call me,” he asserted, emphasizing the premium he places on his appearances.
During the interview, Showboy also shared a recent experience in Nkawkaw, where a show promoter appealed to him to accept a reduced rate of GHS 30,000.
Despite this exception, Showboy is committed to maintaining his standard fee, underscoring his belief in the value of his brand and performance quality.
