Ghanaian singer Fameye has opened up about his struggles to reconnect with Shatta Wale, revealing that the Dancehall star has not spoken to him for months.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the “Praise” hitmaker pleaded with Medikal, a close associate of Shatta Wale, to help bridge the communication gap between them.
“My brother Medikal, you for carry me go meet Shatta Wale for house cos he’s gone completely mute on me for months. We used to be super cool — he no go fit vex me like that,” Fameye wrote.

He also expressed frustration over the constant trolling he receives from Shatta Movement (SM) fans whenever he interacts under Shatta Wale’s social media posts.
“Wey ien fans no dey gimme peace anytime I comment under his post! Come to think of it, I have not met Wale in person before,” he added.
Although neither artist has publicly addressed the issue, some social media users speculate that Shatta Wale’s silence may be linked to Fameye’s growing rapport with Stonebwoy, Wale’s long-time industry rival.
Fans, however, are urging both artists to reconnect and possibly collaborate, noting that their unity would be a huge boost for the Ghanaian music scene.
As of now, Shatta Wale and Medikal have not responded to Fameye’s public appeal.
