UEMA 2025 Issues Official Statement on Sponsorship, Communication, and Stakeholder Concerns

0

The organizers of the Upper East Music Awards (UEMA) 2025 have released an official statement addressing ongoing questions about sponsorship arrangements, communication processes, and nominee-related concerns.

The statement, dated 8th December 2025, aims to clarify the roles of the event’s headline sponsor, Happy Man Bitters, and outline the appropriate channels for inquiries.

Clarifying the Sponsorship Agreement

According to the organizers, the UEMA 2025 is proudly partnered with Happy Man Bitters as the headline sponsor. This partnership is a collaborative effort between Happy Man Bitters and One Luv Entertainment, the official organizing body behind the awards. The agreement, as explained, is designed to support the successful execution of this year’s ceremony.

Communication Protocols

The statement emphasizes that all questions, concerns, feedback, and grievances must be directed to the UEMA organizing body and One Luv Entertainment. This includes issues related to:

Nominations

• Event logistics

• Public concerns

• Nominee-related matters

The organizers noted that sending such concerns directly to Happy Man Bitters is not appropriate, as the sponsor does not handle operational decisions.

Sponsor’s Role Clearly Defined

UEMA clarified that Happy Man Bitters’ role is strictly that of a sponsor — offering financial and logistical support to the awards — without involvement in decisions affecting nominees or award processes.

The UEMA team assured the public that they are committed to transparency and fairness. They encouraged anyone with issues or complaints to communicate directly with One Luv Entertainment to ensure proper and timely handling.

In the release, One Luv Entertainment acknowledged and took responsibility for delays experienced in the past regarding incentive payments. The team promised better structures and communication to prevent similar issues in the future and to ensure that all incentives are redeemed on time.

As UEMA enters its seventh year, the organizing body reaffirmed its dedication to improving the awards scheme and strengthening relationships with stakeholders, artists, sponsors, and the community.
